About Misty

If you thought my name was Misty, you are not the first! Misty was my family’s beloved pup for nearly 17 years (2003-2019). She was an incredible, patient, loving, and active pup who became an integral part of my life.

In 2018 I had a tattoo of her paw print put across my heart and when I first started to dream of this business, I knew I wanted to use her name and paw in her honor~

Pet Sitting

I specialize in staying in YOUR home day & night to care for your pets per your instructions. I can manage virtually all species and breeds: dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, rodents, snakes, lizards, etc.

Pet owners are expected to provide detailed instructions for care as well as all food, medications, collars, leashes, crates/kennels, and any other required equipment for your pet’s care.

Be sure to choose a package that will provide the amount of time with your pets as you prefer, they each provide care as needed with tasks including, but not limited to:

• Feeding & filling water
• Potty breaks & regular walks
• Scooping litter
• Cleaning/exchanging cage liners
• Pets, cuddles, and play time.

The packages are as follows

Overnight Care

• Stay in your home from 8p-7a
• Ideal for those who feel their pets are content without care throughout most of the day, but primarily need someone to spend the night and provide care in the morning and evenings. Especially for non-dog owners or owners of elderly pets requiring overnight monitoring/availability.

You can expect the sitter to stay overnight, provide the care needed in the morning & evening, then they will be away throughout the day 

Half Day Care

• 4-5 hours of care, in your home, from 7a-8p & overnight care from 8p-7a
• Ideal for those who want some more care beyond the overnight package, but feel their pets are well suited to being on their own for long hours (such as the average work day) or need a short check-in halfway through the day!

You can expect the sitter to stay overnight, provide the care needed in the morning & evening, and check in or stay with your pups as neeeded throughout the day

Full Day Care

• 8-10 hours of care, in your home, from 7a-8p & overnight care from 8p-7a 
• Ideal for those who feel their pets need frequent care and/or cannot be on their own for more than a couple hours. Perfect for the elderly, ill, scared, or anxious pets to avoid scares from me coming and going from the home frequently.

You can expect the sitter to stay and provide care all day & night, excluding going out for short errands for no more than a couple hours

Drop-In Visits

Rather than staying as a regular sitter, instead I’ll come over as schedueled to provide standard care including, but not limited too:

• Feeding & filling water
• Potty breaks & short walks
• Scooping litter
• Cleaning/exchanging cage liners

Ideal for non-dog owners, or dog owners who are going away for the day or gaving a late evening out just need someone to check on your pets.

Dog Walks

Includes a walk around your neighborhood; letting the pups choose which way we go, how fast we will go, and however many stops to sniff the flowers as they like! I will make sure they are completely safe wherever we go, that they don’t intrude on private property, and we will refrain from interactions with other people and dogs to maintain your pups comfort.

Ideal for letting your pups get adequate mental and physical stimulation!

A harness and a Non-retractractable leash are preferred. Can handle dogs of all sizes, strengths, and temperments!

**Note** if you are aware of any strong leash pulling and/or aggression from your pup, please make me aware for everyone’s safety. If necessary a head-harness/gentle leader and/or a basket muzzle will be encouraged.
